Sangster Elementary PTA

Opportunities Available:  Seeking people interested in Sangster and our 2012 Silent Auction & Gift Basket Raffle!  This exciting community event will be the primary fund-raiser for Sangster PTA activities next year.  Coordination for this fundraising extravaganza has begun!  Come to either one of two meetings to find out more and discuss what needs to happen now and over summer months in preparation.

  2012, 9:30-10:15 a.m., in the Sangster Teacher’s Lounge.  There is another
  meeting at 10:30 so we will not run late!

Congratulations!  Sangster won the championship for the 2012 Elemetary School Fencing Tournament.  I will bring in the trophy this week.

Also congratulations to Sangster’s seven students who won individual trophies:  LeeYung Cheng, Andre Hu, Will Beer, Hitaansh Gaur, Jake Bilbro, Alex Berchtold, and Spencer Regnier.

The PTA would like to congratulate the Reflection winners for all their hard work and dedication.  Also, thank-you to Menne Dodd for leading our Reflections program this year.

We had 3 Sangster students compete at the Y12/14 Virginia Division Fencing Tournament on Saturday, March 17.

LeeYung Chang took first place in this tournament.

Sameer Mengale placed sixth and Nathan Reiff placed seventh.

In Y10, Jake Bilbro placed second.
